Third Street Alliance for Women and Children is a nonprofit organization in historic downtown Easton. From its beginning in 1909 as a grassroots YWCA, it has served the community and worked to meet the needs of a changing world. In its earlier days, it provided opportunities for physical, mental, and social development and offered rental rooms for many women migrating to the area. In the 1980's, the organization became a human services agency, taking on the new problems of homelessness, child care for working families, and the care of aging adults.

The mission of Third Street Alliance is to improve the quality of life for members of the community, with special emphasis on women and children. In support of this, it provides services to meet the basic needs of individuals and families and provide tools to promote personal development, responsibility and citizenship. Third Street Alliance offers a shelter for homeless women and their children, an accredited child care serving many low income families, compassionate adult day services for a fragile population and their caregivers, and affordable community activities for all ages.
