After eight or so years of marriage, my wife and I decided it was now or never for having a child, her name would be "Faith". We prepared the house and the nursery before becoming pregnant. Less than three months into the pregnancy, we had a miscarriage. After the medical procedure to deal with the miscarriage, my wife layed in bed crying and I layed there helpless to ease her emotional pain. That night, about midnight, I got up and wrote this song as a tribute to the child we lost. Many years later God gave us our "Faith". Anyone who has ever experienced a miscarriage can relate to this song.
